Mobilehome Owner’s Magazine (MHOM) is the latest version of a magazine that started in September 2011. In April 2013, we called it Der Volks Zeitschrift, the People’s Magazine. We have always advocated for you, the owner of either a mobile or a manufactured home.

Our history started in 2002 by organizing a park in Chats worth. We had a GSMOL Chapter and worked hard to protect resident’s lives and investments. In 2003, we started the Coalition of Mobilehome Owners – Los Angeles County (COMO-LAC). In 2004 we went state-wide as the Coalition of Mobilehome Owners – California (COMO-CAL) ran as a non-profit, tax-exempt advocacy for the next twelve years. We brainstormed and decided a magazine was the best way to reach the 365,000 mobilehome owners in California at little or no cost to them.
